Today I found a Brown Hawk inside the warehouse, tired, confused and fearful

Today I found a Brown Hawk in the warehouse, tired, confused, fearful..

It took a while to capture him, since my initial attempts to guide him outside failed. His sharp beak and wide mouth were a deterrance at first, so I decide to open the main warehouse door, and the one at the shipping and recieving ramp. Thinking it would serve as a safe passage to its freedom.

But that din't work, so I got two microfiber rags and went back in the warehouse and talked to it but it kept flying away evading capture until exhaustion overcame him and he layed wings open on the floor.

I  approched him as he opened his wide mouth and sharp beak, and softly folded his wings and picked him from the floor. now laying calmly in my hands. I took him out to a tree and put him on a branch and left him there.

So As I have told you before, with the meetings with other animals:  The Bee and Lady Bug what does it mean for me to have found this bird in the warehouse?

What does it mean to have encountered a hawk? and thisi is what I Found in multiple sources:

"...Many believe that wild hawks are symbolic of an untamed soul, but if the bird is domesticated, they are a symbol of a cleansed soul who has turned their life to God. In addition, seeing hawks represents a message from God, or having immense love and dedication to someone..."

"...Interacting with injured hawks could mirror or resonate with your own latent power that is struggling to self-actualize and emanate your true higher self. And yet represents the reality of that potential when realized..."

"... God used different species of birds in the Bible to teach spiritual lessons, represent divine symbols, and carry out His assignments. The different Meanings of Seeing a Hawk. Divine Grace: If you see a hawk, it means God has given you the grace to do things that used to be difficult or seem impossible..."

"...."From a Biblical perspective, a hawk is a symbol of divine guidance and that we are being watched out for from above. It is a call to seek God’s wisdom and guidance in our lives."

God asks Job in Job 39:26, "Does the hawk take flight by your wisdom and spread its wings toward the south?"

So within Judeo-Christian tradition, the hawk represents a watchful presence guiding us from above and urging us to tap into divine wisdom..." (Dubois)

"...In other words, hawks see the bigger picture that we often miss from our limited view on the ground. "As a symbol, a hawk is a reminder to see the world from thirty yards above; to see the big picture," Dubois explains. Encountering a hawk invites us to similarly elevate our perspective..."

“The hawk is a messenger bird. Usually when we see a hawk it means to pay attention because a message is coming to you. Hawks represent clear sightedness, being observant, our far memory and guardianship

So I leave it to you to figure it out as these encounters with animals continue to happen

History Repeats itself La historia se repite

History repeats itself, La historia se repite...

As a student at the University of Puerto Rico from 1973-77, I along with 38,000 other students experienced two shutdowns which caused many of us not to graduate on time. And that implied for some of us to take two summer sessions with 18 credit hours, something you would need not only your counselors’ approval but the dean of your school.

I ended completing course requirements in December 1977, and got commissioned into the US Army on January 10th, 1978. This was six months after my original expected graduation date.  I reported to active duty on January 11th, 1978 at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO and remained there until mid-February until my Basic Military Intelligence Basic Officers Course was scheduled to start.

The implications not only affected my graduation, since anyone who met course requirements in December would graduate the following summer, so My diploma say June of 1978. A graduation I missed since I was already on Active duty. And even worst, lost my initial assignment in the Army, since I had to be rescheduled to a different Officers Basic Course in Feb of 1978.  All that thanks to 3,000 plus Socialist (PSP) Partido Socialista Puertorriqueno), Communist (FUPI)  Federacion Universitaria pro Independencia) students who shut down a university of 38,000 plus students.

Remember in 1978 you did not have virtual classes, you went home, and if you were boarding in student housing you were also sent home. UPR was and is the top campus in PR where students come from all over the island come to Rio Piedras.  So, the businesses around the campus thrive with university life and in their absence their sales and services also suffered.

One thing is to march for a cause, to have a sit in, and another thing is to shut down a university, stop others from attending classes, destroying property, chanting slogans like

“Death to America ““Fight for Worldwide Intifada” ... yes go find the definition of Intifada and how many have been against Israel.... and then think who are they targeting if they want worldwide Intifada. Or why would you permit someone to desecrate your flag? like they have permitted at Columbia University

Why would you have a Hezbollah flag? A worldwide known terrorist organization, and why do you cover your faces? So, history once again repeats itself, when an older person tells you to be careful, watch for these indicators and warnings is for something they have already lived through.

The left, and yes when we say left it reflects Communism, and its bastard child Socialism are behind these movements. The slogans, the Modus operandi is the same. And they are rallying behind what could have been a noble cause “Stop the War” “free the hostages” “Ceasefire” More aid to Gaza”

Caveat Emptor (Buyer beware) read the history, our universities are full of left-wing professors who teach with and underlying purpose. Why if you want to stop a War do you need to say: “Down with Capitalism?” or “Fight for World Intifada?” Don’t become a useful stooge where someone who you think is supporting your cause takes over and injects his.

You end up being the fool, jailed, criminal record that will carry on for the rest of your life. Your time as a student is to absorb like a sponge knowledge, determine right from wrong and know how to challenge injustice via elections, and taking stances to create change.

Anytime there is violence, total disrespect to justice, anarchy, insubordination you are on the wrong side of history. And when you mature and grow out of your university years you will pay your consequences. Who will hire a violent instigator? Or one who desecrates the flag that permits him/her to voice his opinion? Or chants slogans and holds flags of terrorist organizations?  Keep that in mind.

And as a foot note the UPR has had several incidents where students and police officers got killed and the crime never been solved.

Jacinto Gutiérrez born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, was a University of Puerto Rico Río Piedras campus Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps cadet sergeant who was murdered on 11 March 1971 at the Army Reserve Officers Training Corps building during a riot by groups opposing the program's presence on the campus.[1] During the riots, two Puerto Rico Police officers, Riot Squad commander Juan Birino Mercado and Sergeant Miguel Rosario Rondón, also lost their lives.[2][3] No one has ever been charged with his killing.[4][5]
