Regime forces killed at least 61 civilians in Damascus and its suburbs of including 27 civilians in the provincial town of Harasta and 21 more in the town of Douma. Improvised barrel bombs dropped on residential buildings in the Idlib suburb of Salqin left at least 30 people dead including 7 children. Summary of Events Syrian rebels seized control of an air defence base that contains surface-to-air missiles in the Eastern Ghuta district of Damascus province. The rebels captured big quantities of ammunition and arms including missiles after fierce shelling and clashes that left scores of regime troops dead while destroying a big part of the site. Regime forces killed at least 61 civilians in Damascus and its suburbs, including 27 civilians in the provincial town of Harasta, half of which killed “execution style” while others died due to the indiscriminate shelling that targeted residential buildings. Meanwhile, at least 21 civilians were killed due to the indiscriminate shelling that targeted the Damascus suburbs of Douma, while dozen more people were killed in the suburbs of Saqba, Daraya, Maliha, Moadamiya, Easter Ghuta and the neighbourhood of Jobar. Regime bulldozers destroyed dozens of houses in the neighbourhoods of Qabun, Tadamon and Zahera as part of the collective punishment imposed on the anti-government activists. Improvised barrel bombs filled with TNT were dropped on residential buildings in the Idlib suburb of Salqin causing mass destruction and leaving at least 30 people dead including 7 children. Dozen more people were killed as regime forces resumed shelling the Idlib suburbs of Ma’arrat Noman, Sarmin, Taftanaz, Ram, Hamdan, Heish and Has. Heavy fighting continued for the 4th consecutive day throughout the city of Aleppo and its suburbs, whereby regime forces killed scores of civilians and wounded many more as they resumed their indiscriminate and fierce shelling using artillery and fighter jets resulting in the death of at least 11 civilians in the neighbourhood of Masaken Hanano and 16 more in the neighbourhood of Karm Jabal. Dozens more people were also killed due to the fierce shelling in the neighbourhoods of Maharqa, Sheikh Maqsoud, Ameriya and Bab Janin. In the meantime, regime forces resumed their fierce and indiscriminate shelling of densely populated areas throughout the country, leaving scores of civilians dead and wounded while destroying dozens of houses. They shelled a number of neighbourhoods in the city of Daraa as well as its provincial towns of Wadi Yarmouk, Tal Shihab, Mzereib, Yadouda, Um Mahathen, Ghariya Ghabiya, Ghariya Sharqiya, Mahajeh and the Lajat discrtict. They also shelled the neighbourhoods of Ommal, Hamidiya and Sheikh Yasin in the city of Deir Azzour in addition to its provincial town of Boukamal. They bombarded the Raqa suburb of Tal Abyad and a number of villages in the suburbs of Latakia as well as the Homs suburbs of Rastan, Houleh, Hosh Hajo and Abel. Seized control of the villages of Ghasaniya and Haydariya in the suburbs of Homs Summary of Events Mass anti-Assad protests were reported in his home town in the Latakia suburb of Kerdaha as the founder of the Shabiha organization Mohammad al-Assad known as “the Sheikh of the Mountain” was killed during clashes with armed militias from al-Khayer clan. At least 30 civilians killed “execution style” were discovered in a basement in southern neighbourhood of Asaly in Damascus. Meanwhile, regime forces committed the 4thmassacre in less than a week in the neighbourhood of Barzeh claiming the lives of eight civilians who were discovered near the Tishrin military hospital. Regime forces stormed the Harasta national hospital in the Damascus suburb of Harata and arrested all injured civilians following a heavy shelling that also left more than 13 civilians dead. At least ten people were killed in the Damascus suburb of Douma and ten more died in the provincial town of Deir Suleiman in the eastern Ghouta district due to the fierce and indiscriminate shelling by regime forces. Atavists said at least eight Syrian intelligence agents were killed and several dozen people wounded in a car-bomb attack in the north-eastern town of Qamishli. Several dozen people were also killed as regime forces resumed shelling the Damascus suburbs of Zabadani, Saqba, Kafarbatna, Erbin, Asal al-Ward, Hosh Arab, Mesraba, Mdeira and Hejeira Balad. In Deir Azzour, at least 41 civilians died, of which nine were killed in an airstrike by a MIG fighter jet that targeted a four-story building in the neigbourhood of Hamidiya, while eight family members were killed “execution style” in the neighbourhood of Qosour. Several dozen people were also reported dead in several neighbourhoods and towns as the fierce fighting and shelling continued in the provincial town of Boukamal and Deir Azzour. Fierce clashes continued for the 3rd consecutive day throughout the city of Aleppo as the regime’s heavy artillery and fighter jets continued to pound the residential areas killing dozens of people and wounding many more. In the meantime, regime forces resumed their fierce and indiscriminate shelling of densely populated areas throughout the country, leaving scores of civilians dead and wounded while destroying dozens of houses. They shelled several neighbourhoods in the city of Homs as well as its provincial towns of Talkalakh, Qosayr and Rastan. They also shelled several villages in the western suburbs of Hama as well as the Daraa suburbs of Inkhel, Bosra, Ghariya Gharbiya, Um Mayathen and the Lajat district. They shelled the Idlib suburbs of Ma’arrat Noman, Sarmin, Kafarnabel, Taftanaz, Has and Heish as well as the Raqa suburbs of Ain Eissa and Tal Abyad in addition to the village of Bakas in the Latakia الشبيحة في سورية لقو مصرعهم إثر اشتباكات مع آل الخير بعد اعتقال الدكتور عبد العزيز الخير من قبل رجال الأمن شهدت العاصمة دمشق يوماً دامياً حيث تم العثورة على 30 جثة في حي العسالي تم إعدامها ميدانياً ورميها في أحد الأقبية، كذلك ارتكبت قوات النظام المجزرة الرابعة خلال أقل من أسبوع في حي برزة حيث عثر على ثمانية جثث كانت ملقاة بالقرب من مشفى تشرين العسكري وفي ريف دمشق، اقتحمت قوات النظام مشفى حرستا الوطني وقامت باعتقال كل من فيها من جرحى بعد أن سقط قرابة أكثر من 13 شهيداً جراء القصف الذي سبق الاقتحام، كذلك سقط ما يزيد عن عشرة شهداء في قصف مماثل على مدينة دوما وتسعة آخرون في قصف استهدف بلدة دير السليمان في الغوطة الشرقية كما سقط العشرات من الشهداء في قصف استهدف مدن وبلدات الزبداني وسقبا وكفر بطنا وعربين وعسال الورد وحوش عرب ومسرابا ومديرا وحجيرة البلد في ريف دمشق وهز انفجار عنيف مدينة القامشلي في شمال شرق البلاد بعد أن فجر انتحاري سيارة مخففة استهدفت أحد المقار الأمنية مما أدى إلى سقوط ثمانية عناصر أمن وعشرات الجرحى وفي دير الزور سقط قرابة ما يزيد عن 41 شهيداً بينهم تسعة شهداء قضو في قصف جوي على أحد المباني السكنية في حيي الحميدية، وثمانية آخرين من عائلة واحدة تم إعدامهم ميدانياً في حي القصور، بينما سقط العشرات بنيران قوات النظام في مدن وأحياء أخرى في المحافظة وسط اشتباكات عنيفة حول مبنى فرع الأمن السياسي ووسط قصف عنيف ومستمر طال أيضاً مدن الميادين والبوكمال في ريف دير الزور تواصلت الاشتباكات العنيفة لليوم الثالث على التوالي في مدينة حلب بين الجيش الحر وجيش النظام في عدة أحياء من مدينة حلب، وسط قصف عنيف بالمدفعية الثقيلة والطيران الحربي من قبل قوات النظام على عدد من المدن والأحياء مما أدى إلى سقوط عشرات الشهداء والجرحى في غضون ذلك، واصل قوات النظام قصفها العشوائي والعنيف والذي خلف عشرات الشهداء والجرحى فضلاً عن تهديم عشرات المنازل في مختلف أنحاء البلاد، حيث قصفت بالمدفعية الثقيلة والهاون والطيران الحربي وراجمات الصواريخ عدد من أحياء مدينة حمص ومدن وبلدات تلكلخ والرستن والقصير في ريفها، ومعظم قرى ريف حماة الغربي، ومدن وبلدات إنخل وقرى منطقة اللجاة وبصرى الشام وبلدت الغارية الغربية وأم المياذن  في ريف درعا، ومدن معرة النعمان وسرمين وكفرنبل وتفتناز وبلدات حاس
