Summary of Events A disarmament group said that regime forces have almost certainly used cluster bombs, during their crackdown on the Syrian uprising, the group said it had collected pictures and footage from Syrian activists showing fragments of cluster munitions which kill and maim civilians long after conflicts end. Rebel fighters shot down a MIG fighter jet in the town of Abu Thohour in the northern province of Idlib. Meanwhile, rebel fighters entered the city of Idlib for the first time since months and fought a hit-and-run battle with regime forces that fiercely bombarded the residential areas as we all as the towns of Taoum, Taftanaz and Habeit. The heaviest clashes broke out in the neighbourhoods of Qadam, Asaly, Tadamon and the Palestinian refugee camps of Palestine and Yarmouk in the capital whereby regime forces heavily bombarded these neighbourhoods using tanks and mortar shells. Meanwhile, rebel fighters continued to surround several security and military points in the city of Deir Azzour as well as the Hamdan military airport in the city of Boukamal. Regime forces however, continued bombarding these cities in addition to the towns of Husainiya and Safeira Tahtani. More summary executions were reported in the suburbs of Damascus where 23 civilians including women, children and elderly were murdered with knives in their homes in the town of Zamalka. Some 22 unidentified burnt bodies were found in a landfill in the town of Qatana, while 15 more were executed in the town of Deir Asafir. Dozens more were killed due to the fierce bombardment in the towns of Bait Sahem, Bibila, Yalda, Hejeira, Bowayda, Sayeda Zeinab, Thiyabiya, Zabadani, Moadamiya, Daraya and Atrouz whereby dozens of houses were burned and destroyed. Nearly 58 illegal immigrants – half of them women and children escaping the violence in Syrian - drowned when a boat carrying them towards Europe sank off the coast of Turkey. Bashar Haj Ali, the Syrian diplomatic envoy to Belgrade announced his defection to the opposition side today. Regime forces continued their massive military offensive throughout the country, killing dozens of civilians, wounding hundreds others and forcing thousands of them to flee their homes. Regime forces fiercely shelled the neighbourhood of Khaldiya and the old city of Homs as well as its provincial towns of Rastan, Krak Des Chevalier while being faced with fierce resistance by rebel fighters. They also resumed bombarding the neighbourhoods of Suleiman Halabi, Sha’ar, Bustan Qaser, Masaken Hanaon, Zebdiya, Ansary and Sukari in the city of Aleppo as well as its provincial towns of al-Bab, Deir Hafer, Hayan, Qubtan Jabal and Dar Ezza. They shelled the Daraa suburbs of Jeiza, Sahwa and Ma’arbeh while raided the towns of Tal Shihab and Zezoun on the border with Jordan. They heavily bombarded the villages of Akrad Mountain, Rabea and Salma districts in the province of Latakia as well as the Hama suburbs of Kafarzeita and Karnaz.   دلائل على استخدام قوات الأسد للقنابل العنقودية ضد المدنيين أبرز أخبار اليوم جماعة داعية الى نزع السلاح تقول أن قوات الحكومة السورية استخدمت على الأرجح قنابل عنقودية خلال حملتها القعمية على الانتفاضة ضدها الجيش السوري الحر يتمكن من إسقاط طائرة ميغ حربية فوق مطار أبو الظهور في  إدلب ‫وفاة قرابة ال58 شخصاً نصفهم من الأطفال من أهالي مدينة الحسكة  غرقاً قبالة السواحل التركية أثناء محاولتهم الهجرة إلى اليونان بشكل غير شرعي أبرز المقاطع المصورة بيت سحم، ريف دمشق: سقوط عدد من الشهداء جراء القصف العشوائي على المدينة، ج2 حلب: سقوط جرحى وشهداء جراء القصف العنيف والعشوائي، ج2 الجيزة، درعا: انتشال جثث الأطفال من تحت أنقاض المنازل التي قصفتها قوات النظام، ج2، ج3 إحصائيات اليوم  عدد الشهداء: 179 (دمشق وريفها: 100، حلب: 23، دير الزور: 16، حماة:11، درعا: 10، إدلب: 6، حمص: 3، اللاذقية: 3، القنيطرة: 1) العمليات النوعية للجيش السوري الحر: قتل ما يزيد عن 66 عسكرياً من جيش النظام خلال اشتباكات دارت في محافظات مختلفة من البلاد إسقاط طائرة ميغ حربية في بلدة أبو الظهور في إدلب ملخص الأحداث قالت جماعة داعية الى نزع السلاح مستشهدة بتسجيلات فيديو وأدلة مُصورة أن قوات الحكومة السورية استخدمت على الأرجح قنابل عنقودية في قمعها للثورة السورية، وأضافت الجماعة أنها جمعت صوراً ولقطات فيديو من ناشطين سوريين تبين شظايا في موقعين على الأقل في سورية لذخائر عنقودية تقتل المدنيين وتسبب تشوهات لهم حتى بعد انتهاء الصراع بوقت طويل وفي إدلب، تمكن الجيش السوري الحر من إسقاط طائرة ميغ حربية فوق مطار أبو الظهور في وقت تكمنت كتائبه من الوصول إلى داخل مدينة إدلب وخوض معارك كر وفر فيها وسط قصف عشوائي للأحياء السكانية طال أيضاً بلدات طعوم وتفتناز والهبيط اشتدت المعارك في أحياء القدم والعسالي والتضامن ومخيمي فلسطين واليرموك في العاصمة دمشق حيث استخدمت قوات النظام الدبابات والهاون في قصفها لتلك الأحياء، بينما واصل الثوار محاصرتهم للمباني الأمنية والعسكرية في مدينة دير الزور ولمطار حمدان العسكري في مدينة البوكمال في وقت قامت قوات النظام بقصف تلك المدن بالإضافة إلى مدن الحسينية وسفيرة تحتاني وفي ريف دمشق، واصلت قوات النظام ارتكابها للمجازر الجماعية، حيث ارتكبت مجزرة جديدة في مدينة زملكا حيث عثر على 23 جثة معظمهم نساء وأطفال وشيوخ قضى معظمهم ذبحاً بالسكاكين في عقر ديارهم، كذلك عثر على جثث ل22 شاباً مجهولي الهوية في مكب للنافايات تم إعدامهم رمياً بالرصاص ومن ثم حرقهم في مدينة قطنا، بينما عثر أيضاً على 15 جثة أخرى كانت قد أعدمت ميدانياً في بلدة دير العصافير. كذلك سقط عشرات الشهداء جراء القصف الذي استهدف مدن وبلدات بيت سحم وببيلا ويلدا وحجيرة البلد والبويضة والسيدة زينب والذيابية والزبداني ومعضمية الشام وداريا وعرطوز فضلاً عن تدمير وحرق عشرات المنازل ‫وفي سياق متصل، قضى قرابة ال58 شخصاً نصفهم من الأطفال من أهالي مدينة الحسكة غرقاً قبالة السواحل التركية أثناء محاولتهم الهرب من العنف الدائر في البلاد إلى أوروبا بشكل غير شرعي ‫أعلن  بشار الحاج علي الملحق الدبلوماسي في السفارة السورية في العاصمة الصربية بلغراد انشقاقه عن النظام السوري وانضمامه إلى صفوف المعارضة السورية  واصل النظام حملاته العسكرية في مختلف أنحاء البلاد خلفت عشرات الشهداء والجرحى فضلاً عن إجبار الآلاف من الأهالي على النزوح عن ديارهم، حيث قامت قواته بقصف حي الخالدية وأحياء حمص القديمة ومدن الرستن وقلعة الحصن في ريفها وسط مقاومة شرسة من قبل كتائب الثوار التي ما زالت صامدة منذ أشهر، كذلك واصلت قصفها لأحياء سليمان الحلبي والشعار وبستان القصر ومساكن هنانو والزبدية والأنصاري والسكري في مدينة حلب ومدن وبلدات الباب ودير حافر وحيان وقبتان الجبل ودار عزة في ريف حلب، ومدن وبلدات الجيزة والسهوة ومعربة في محافظة درعا كما قامت قوات النظام باقتحام بلدات تل شهاب وزيون الحدوديات، ومنطقة جبل الأكراد وقرى ناحية ربيعة ومصيف سلمى وقراها  في ريف اللاذقية، ومدن كفرزينا وكرناز في ريف حماة
