A letter to Gabriel my grandson as he makes his apprearance tonight or ealry tomorrow morning

Dear Grandson:

I write to you hours before your arrival, cause there are many things for you to know about the world you are coming into. Starting with your name: Gabriel which is from the Archangel Gabriel  venerated in Three major faiths (Judaism, Christianity and Islam)

Within the  Hebrew bible he appeared to Enoch, Daniel, on the new testament he announced to the Virgin Mary the birth of Christ, to Zechariah on the birth of John the Baptist. In Islam he appeared to several prophets but not importantly  Mohamed who is said to have written the first  5 verses of the Koran by a revelation from Gabriel

So your name sounds big, and is recalling this powerful Archangel as your protector. You are coming into this world at a time of crisis to bring hope, faith, happiness to a world that will need to think how to re-invent itself after this 100 year pandemic. 

On the personal side, you are much loved and cherished by mom and dad and an army of grand parents, uncles and aunts, and still a long list of others who have been monitoring your arrival. So you are the good news, you are the life, our hope that you bring us to cheer us up in the middle of this sad and uncertain times.

If you do come today, you share the birthday of your Great Uncle Carlos, and the name of your Uncle Gabriel if you do come tomorrow you will still be  an Aires like your Great Uncle Carlos and Great grandfather Octavio, so you are already linked by name, dates, groups of this side of the family. 

As you come to this world and open your eyes, you will be cared for by mom and dad and some of us will not be around initially, and that has to do with what is going on in this world now. But soon Grandma Jeanne and Grandpa Mike will be as the first relief cell to help mom and dad.. sometime later grandma Lucy will show up and then Granpa Octavio with Gema and the rest.

Don’t worry about a thing you will be welcomed at home by two dogs Karma and Stubbs. and your will have a blast with them as you grow up.

Just hang tight for the next several hours, I know it may be uncomfortable  and tight, your mom says you are getting big inside, doctors will get you out this evening or tonight. A lot of anxiety

We are cheering for you 1,400 miles away. just wanted you to know how much you are loved and we will see you sometime in the future when it is safe for you, and us all
