Destroyed three military tanks in the suburbs of Daraa and Damascus. Resumed attacks on military airbases in the north and east of the country. Summary of Events At least 94 people died in Syria today, the lowest number in several months of continuous shelling and fighting. Some 74 people were killed by regime forces including five women, five children and 15 fighters, whereas more than 20 regime soldiers and militiamen were killed by the rebels. At least 27 people died and dozens more were injured in Aleppo city due to the intense rocket and artillery shelling that targeted its neighbourhoods of Sukari, Sakhour and Daher Ouda. Some 28 people died in Damascus and it suburbs as well, five of whom died when a rocket launched by regime forces hit a bakery in the provincial town of Kafarbatna. Dozens more civilians and rebel fighters were killed and injured due to the violent clashes and shelling that took place throughout Daraa, Homs, Hama, Idlib, Deir Azzour, Raqa and Hasaka. Regime forces shelled as many as 153 different locations across the country using all sort of heavy weaponry, including cluster and explosive bombs. Some 31 locations were shelled by mortar shells and 70 others were pounded by heavy artillery. More than 52 locations came under rocket shelling as fighter jets struck three locations only. Using heavy artillery, rocket launchers and mortar shells, the rebels resumed their attacks on the military bases of Quwayres, Menneg and Jarah in the suburbs of Aleppo, destroying a helicopter gunship in the Mennege airbase. They also attacked the airbase of Taftanaz in idlib as well as the Deir Azzour airbase in the eastern province of Deir Azzour. The rebels gained new victories in the northern province of Raqa where they seized control of a number of oil fields near the al-Safeeh oil field which they took over recently. They also stormed a military checkpoint as they renewed their attack the base of the army’s 93rd Brigade. Heavy fighting continued in the Palestinian Yarmouk camp in the south of Damascus as well as on various fronts in Damascus and its suburbs, Daraa, Hama, Deir Azzour, Idlib, Homs and Latakia where the rebels managed to destroy at least three military tanks in addition to killing and injuring dozens of regime soldiers and militiamen. Damages caused to the Ministry of Higher Education and its institutions during the 22-month conflict exceeded US$2.5M. وميلشياته الموالية، بينهم خمسة أطفال وخمس نساء و15 مقاتلاً من كتائب الثوار، في حين سقط ما يقارب 20 قتيلاً من قوات وميلشيات النظام على يد الثوار ففي حلب سقط 27 شهيداً وعشرات الجرحى جراء القصف الصاروخي والمدفعي العنيف الذي استهدف أحياء المشهد والسكري وضهر عودة مخلفاً دماراً كبيراً وعدد كبير من الجرحى، وفي دمشق وريفها سقط 28 شهيداً بينهم خمسة على الأقل قضوا في قصف صاروخي عنيف استهدف أحد أفران الخبز في بلدة كفربطنا، كما سقط العشرات من الشهداء والجرحى جراء القصف والاشتباكات التي دارت في مناطق متفرقة من درعا وحمص وحماة وإدلب ودير الزور والرقة والحسكة واصلت قوات النظام عملياتها العسكرية في مختلف أنحاء البلاد حيث قصفت أكثر من 153 منطقة في مختلف أنحاء البلاد مستخدمةً القنابل العنقودية والبراميل المتفجرة، فقد شهدت حوالي 31 منطقة قصفاً بمدافع الهاون و52 منطقة قصفت براجمات الصواريخ و70 منطقة بالمدفعية الثقيلة، كما شن سلاح الجو غارات جوية على ثلاث مناطق فقط واصل الثوار هجومهم على مطارات كويرس ومنغ والجراح بريف حلب وتفتناز بريف إدلب ودير الزور بريف محافظة دير الزور، مستخدمين القذائف المدفعية والصاروخية وأسلحة ثقيلة كالدبابات والمدافع الثقيلة، وتمكنوا من إعطاب طائرة مروحية أثناء محاولتها الإقلاع من مطار منغ العسكري كما واصل الثوار تقدمهم في محافظة الرقة حيث أعلنوا عن السيطرة على عدد من حقول النفط المجاورة لحقل الصفيح في منطقة الرصافة والذي تمت السيطرة عليه قبل عدة أيام، كما قاموا باقتحام حاجز ناحية عين عيسى مع مواصلة هجومهم على مقر اللواء 93 في المحافظة نفسها ودارت اشتباكات عنيفة في حي مخيم اليرموك الفلسطيني جنوب العاصمة دمشق وفي مناطق عدة من ريف دمشق ودرعا وحماة ودير الزور وإدلب وحمص واللاذقية تمكن الثوار من خلالها تدمير ثلاث دبابات وعدد من السيارات العسكرية، وأوقعوا عشرات القتلى والجرحى في صفوف جيش النظام صرحت وزارة التعليم العالي السورية في بيان صدر عنها اليوم، أن حجم الأضرار المادية الذي لحق بمنشآتها منذ اندلاع الثورة السورية قدر بما يعادل 2.5 مليون دولا أميركي
