Seized control of a military checkpoint and a hospital in the neighbourhood of Owayja in Aleppo. Destroyed a number of military tanks and armoured vehicles during clashes throughout the country. Summary of Events Regime forces continued their attacks on opposition strongholds shelling more than 88 different areas throughout the country mainly in Homs, Damascus and Idlib. They used fighter jets, helicopter gunships and all sorts of heavy weaponry killing more than 98 people, including eight women and seven children in addition to 29 rebel fighters. More than 38 people were killed and dozens more were injured in Damascus and its suburbs. Regime warplanes and heavy artillery unleashed heavy bombardments on the East Ghouta district as well as the southern part of Damascus mainly targeting the Hajar Aswad district were barrel bombs were dropped on residential buildings causing dozens of casualties and reducing many houses to rubble. Activists said that regime forces allowed the remaining residents of the Damascus suburb of Harasta to evacuate the town before launching a majort attack on it. They also claimed that more than 50 cases of suffocation and fainting were caused by what appeared to be a chemical attack. Regime forces killed 18 people in Aleppo and its suburbs, most of them died during clashes. Airstrikes killed more than 15 people in the Deir Azzour suburbs of Boukamal, Ahsara and Hajin while 11 people were killed in Idlib, six of which were killed in a similar attack on the provincial town of al-Tah. Regime forces also killed seven people in Homs, four in Daraa, three in each of Hama and Hasaka. Heavy fighting continued throughout the country where the rebels inflicted heavy losses on regime forces, killing more than 45 militiamen and soldiers including high-ranking officers. The also detained dozens more including three generals and one colonel. The rebels bolstered their control of the southern frontier with the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights as they continued to repel the regime’s ground assault and push forward to take new areas. They also stormed a military post in the Damascus suburb of Shifouniya and destroyed three military tanks in the provincial town of Bowayda, whereas more than 50 army soldiers including a number of officers defected to the rebels’ side in the Damascus suburb of Qalamon. The rebels seized control of a military checkpoint and a hospital in the neighbourhood of Owayja in Aleppo city in addition to acquiring advanced anti-tank missiles. They also stormed the premises of what’s called “Popular Army” in the Deir Azzour suburb of Boukamal. They seized control of another military post in the provincial town of Ras al-Ain in the north-eastern province of Hasaka. Clashes were also reported in Daraa, Homs and Raqa provinces. ناشطون يقولون أن النظام يستخدم أسلحة كيماوية   أبرز أخبار اليوم النظام يواصل حملته العسكرية على دمشق وريفها وناشطون يقولون أنه استخدم أسلحة كيماوية عشرات الشهداء والجرحى في غارات جوية على ريف دير الزور الثوار يقتلون ويأسرون العشرات من عناصر جيش النظام بينهم ضباط رفيعي المستوى أبرز المقاطع المصورة العويجة، حلب: تحرير حاجز مشفى الكندي واغتنام صواريخ مضادة للدروع، ج2، ج3 الحجر الأسود، دمشق: آثار دماء ودمار، قتلى وجرحى خلّفه القصف العشوائي المستمر، ج2، ج3، ج4 تيرمعلة، حمص: سقوط شهداء وجرحى بينهم أطفال جراء الغارات الجوية على البلدة، ج2، ج3، ج4 إحصائيات اليوم  عدد الشهداء: 98 بينهم 8 سيدات و7 أطفال و29 مقاتلاً (دمشق وريفها: 38 ، حلب: 18 ، دير الزور: 15، إدلب: 11، حمص: 7، درعا: 4، حماة: 4، الحسكة: 3) عدد المناطق التي تم قصفها: 88+ قتلى الجيش النظامي: 45+ عدد الجرحى: 65+ عدد المعتقلين: 25+ العمليات النوعية للجيش السوري الحر: السيطرة على فوج النقل في بلدة الشيفونية في ريف دمشق واغتنام أسلحة متطورة السيطرة على حاجز ومشفى الكندي في حي العويجة في مدينة حلب تدمير عدد من الدبابات والآليات العسكرية خلال اشتباكات دارت في مناطق مختلف من البلاد ملخص الأحداث واصلت قوات النظام قصفها للمدن والأحياء الخارجة عن سيطرتها حيث طالت قذائفها أكثر من 88 منطقة في مختلف أنحاء البلاد أكثرها في حمص وريف دمشق وإدلب مستخدمةً الطيران الحربي والمروحي وغيره من الأسلحة الثقيلة، وقتلت أكثر من 98 مواطناً بينهم ثمان سيدات وسبعة أطفال و29 مقاتلاً من الكتائب الثائرة ففي دمشق وريفها، سقط 38 شهيداً وعشرات الجرحى جراء القصف العنيف على مدن وبلدات الغوطة الشرقية وداريا والمعضمية وعلى أحياء دمشق الجنوبية وخاصة منطقة الحجر الأسود التي تم قصفها بالبراميل المتفجرة مما أسفر عن سقوط عدة شهداء وعشرات الجرحى فضلاً عن إحداث دمار كبير وحرائق بالمنازل كما أفاد ناشطون أن قوات النظام أمهلت من تبقى من أهالي مدينة حرستا في ريف دمشق ثلاث ساعات لإخلاء المدينة قبل أن تقصفها المدينة بالطيران الحربي وراجمات الصواريخ والمدفعية الثقيلة والغازات السامة مما أدى إلى وقوع أكثر من 50 حالة اختناق وغثيان وإغماء في صفوف المدنيين وقتلت قوات النظام 18 مواطناً في حلب وريفها معظمهم جراء الاشتباكات، و15 شهيداً في دير الزور جراء القصف الجوي على مدن وبلدات البوكمال والعشارة وهجين، و11 شهيداً في ريف إدلب بينهم ستة قضوا في غارة جوية على بلدة التح، وسبعة شهداء في حمص، وأربعة في درعا، وثلاثة في كل من حماة الحسكة احتدمت الاشتباكات على جبهات عدة من البلاد تكبد جيش النظام على إثرها خسائر فادحة حيث سقط ما يزيد عن 45 قتيلاً في صفوفه بينهم ضباط رفيعي المستوى، كما تم أسر العشرات بينهم ثلاثة ضباط برتبة عميد وضابط برتبة عقيد، وقد أعلن الثوار فرض سيطرتهم تقريباً على كافة القرى المتاخمة للحدود مع هضبة الجولان المحتلة، في حين سيطروا على فوج النقل في بلدة الشيفونية في ريف دمشق بعد معارك ضارية سقط على إثرها عشرات القتلى والجرحى في صفوف جيش النظام في الوقت الذي تم تأمين انشقاق 50 عنصراً من جيش النظام ما بين صف ضباط وجنود في منطقة القلمون بريف دمشق  وفي حلب سيطر الثوار على واحد من أكبر تجمعات جيش وأمن النظام فيها، حيث تم السيطرة على حاجز الكندي والمشفى المجاورة له في حي العويجة واغتنموا كميات كبيرة من الأسلحة بينها صواريخ مضادة للدروع، كما تمكن الثوار من السيطرة على مقر الجيش الشعبي في مدينة البوكمال في محافظة دير الزور، وموقع أصفر نجار في مدينة رأس العين في محافظة الحسكة، كما هاجموا عدداً من الحواجز العسكرية في درعا وحمص والرقة Revolution Statistics Syrians killed: 44,704 Children killed: 3,365 Females killed: 3,499 Soldiers killed: 4,589 Protestors killed under torture: 1207 Missing: +76,000 Protestors currently incarcerated:+216,000 Syrian refugees since March: +405,791 Refugees in Turkey: +112,883 Refugees in Lebanon: +118,663 Refugees in Jordan: +118,398 Refugees in Iraq: +49,032 Refugees in North Africa: +6,815 Internationl Reactions Israel says rebels take Syrian frontier villages Russia's Lavrov begins Gulf talks with Syria focus Turkey, Israel Warn Syria Against Violations of Territory Obama open to talks with Syrian opposition umbrella group Selected Media Coverage Asharq Alawsat: Syria: What a historic day!
