Regime forces resumed their heavy bombardments on the suburbs of Damascus killing at least 55 people and injuring dozens more. Seized control of a military checkpoint in the Homs suburb of Qusayr and destroyed a number of armored vehicles near the Homs suburb of Talkalakh. Seized control of a military checkpoint in the Idlib suburb of Salqin and destroyed six military tanks in the Idlib suburb of Hamdiya. Summary of Events Rebel fighters exchanged cross-border fire with the Iraqi armed forces as they tried to seize control of a police station in the city of Boukamal near the border with Iraq. The clashes left a rebel commander seriously injured. ‫ Heavy fighting spread throughout the country to include more than 40 different areas. The heaviest fighting took place in the suburbs of Idlib and Damascus as well as in the city of Aleppo. The rebels stormed a number of military checkpoints, destroying a number of military tanks and armoured vehicles and killing more than 67 soldiers. At least 35 rebel fighters were also killed. Regime forces resumed their daily massacres in the suburbs of Damascus killing at least 55 people today. Regime warplanes and heavy artillery pounded several towns and villages leaving at least 15 people dead in the provincial town of Otaya and dozens more in the towns of Douma, Harasta, Kafarbatna, Erbin, Hamouriya, Sayeda Zeinab, Sbeneh, Medeira in addition to a number of other towns in the eastern Ghouta district. The neighborhoods of Hajar Aswad, Qabun and Asaly in Damascus were also subjected to heavy artillery and tanks shelling. Heavy aerial and artillery bombardments resumed on the suburbs of Idlib amid heavy fighting that centred around the Wadi Adayf military base near the key town of Ma’arrat Noman, resulting in the death of at least 18 people including women, children and rebel fighters. More than 15 different areas in Aleppo city and its surrounding suburbs were subjected to heavy artillery and aerial shelling that left at least 21 people dead. More than 28 different areas in Homs and its suburbs were also bombarded by the joint Assad-Hezbollah forces amid heavy fighting in the town of Qusayr that left four rebel fighters dead. In the meantime, four civilians were burned to death in the Daraa suburb of Bosra as regime forces resumed their massive military operations amid suffocating siege and indiscriminate attacks on residential areas in Daraa as well as in Hama, Latakia, Raqa and Qunaitera, leaving scores of people dead and many more wounded while destroying dozens of houses, thus prompting a mass exodus. Health Director of Homs Hassan Alfin said that the health sector in Homs sustained a total damage worth of more than US$16.7 million. He also added that only 9 out of 33 private hospitals are in operation, and that 6 governmental hospitals and 27 clinics are out of service. اشتباكات بيش الثوار والجيش العراقي على الحدود السورية العراقية أبرز أخبار اليوم اشتباكات على الحدود العراقية السورية بين كتائب الجيش الحر والجيش العراقي أثناء محاولة الثوار السيطرة على مخفر حدودي سوري قوات النظام تكثف من قصفها الجوي والمدفعي على مدن وبلدات ريف دمشق وتقتل أكثر من 55 مواطناً تعرض القطاع الصحي في حمص لأضرار جسيمة بلغت قيمتها أكثر من 1.152 مليار ليرة سورية أي ما يعادل 16.7 مليون دولا أمريكي أبرز المقاطع المصورة مضايا، ريف دمشق: سقوط شهداء وجرحى جراء القصف العشوائي، ج2 قدسيا، ريف دمشق: مقطع مسرب يظهر قوات النظام أثناء اقتحامها للمدينة وقيامها بحرق وسرقة ممتلكات المدنيين مساكن هنانو، حلب: سقوط شهداء وجرحى بينهم أطفال نتيجة القصف العشوائي للحي إحصائيات اليوم  عدد المناطق التي تم قصفها: 87 عدد الشهداء: 120 بينهم 9 أطفال و5 سيدات (دمشق وريفها: 55، حلب: 20، إدلب: 14، دير الزور: 11، درعا: 7، حمص: 7، حماة: 3، الرقة: 2، طرطوس: 1) قتلى الجيش النظامي: 67 (دير الزور: 25، إدلب: 17، ريف دمشق: 7، حلب: 6، الحسكة: 5، حمص: 3، درعا: 2، حماة: 2) عدد الجرحى: 80 عدد المعتقلين: 65 العمليات النوعية للجيش السوري الحر: تفجير مبنى يتمركز في الجيش النظام في حي الرشدية في مدينة الزور وقتل 25 عنصراً الاستيلاء على حاجز عسكري في مدينة القصير في ريف حمص وتدمير عدد من الآليات على مشارف مدينة تلكلخ الاستيلاء على حاجز عسكري في مدينة سلقين وتدمير ست دبابات عند حاجز الحامدية في ريف إدلب ملخص الأحداث في تطور خطير من نوعه، دارت اشتباكات بين كتائب الجيش الحر والجيش العراقي على الحدود العراقية السورية عندما قام الجيش العراقي بإطلاق النار على الثوار أثناء محاولتهم السيطرة على مخفر حدودي سوري في مدينة البوكمال في محافظة دير الزور، وأسفرت تلك الاشتباكات عن تعرض أحد قادة الجيش الحر لجروح بليغة ‫اتسع نطاق القتال ليشمل أكثر من 40 نقطة اشتباك في مناطق مختلفة من البلاد كان أعنفها في ريفي إدلب ودمشق ومدينة حلب حيث تمكن الثوار من الاستيلاء على عدد من الحواجز العسكرية وتدمير عدد من الدبابات والآليات العسكرية وقتل ما يزيد 67 جندياً نظامياً في حين سقط ما يزيد عن 35 شهيداً في صفوفهم وفي المقابل، واصلت قوات النظام ارتكاب المجازر في ريف دمشق حيث قتلت اليوم أكثر من 55 مواطناً بينهم نساء وأطفال، بينهم 15 شهيداً وعشرات الجرحى سقطوا جراء غارة جوية نفذتها طائرة حربية على بلدة أوتايا، كما سقط عشرات الشهداء والجرحى جراء القصف العنيف الذي تعرضت له مدن وبلدات دوما وحرستا وكفربطنا وعربين وحمورية والسيدة زينب والسبينة ومديرا بالإضافة إلى مناطق عدة في الغوطة الشرقية، في حين تعرضت أحياء الحجر الأسود والعسالي والقابون في دمشق لقصف عنيف بالدبابات والمدفعية الثقيلة وفي ريف إدلب، تعرضت مدن وبلدات معرة النعمان وخان شيخون وكفروما وتفتناز والهبيط وقرى منطقة جبل الزاوية لقصف عنيف بالطيران الحربي والمروحي والمدفعية الثقيلة وسط اشتباكات عنيفة تركزت حول معسكر وادي الضيف مما أدى إلى سقوط 18 شهيداً بينهم نساء وأطفال وعدد من عناصر الجيش الحر وتعرض أكثر من 15 حي ومدينة لقصف مدفعي وجوي عنيف في محافظة حلب أسفر عن سقوط ما يزيد عن 21 شهيداً، كذلك قصفت قوات النظام أكثر من 28 منطقة في حمص وريفها وسط اشتباكات عنيفة تركزت في مدينة القصير وأدت إلى سقوط أربعة شهداء من كتائب الثوار وقامت قوات النظام بإعدام أربعة مدنيين في مدينة بصرى في محافظة درعا أحدهم يحمل إجازة في علم الاقتصاد  في حين واصلت قوات النظام حملاتها العسكرية الشرسة وسط حصار خانق على درعا وحماة واللاذقية والرقة، والتي تخللها حملات دهم واعتقالات عشوائية، وحرق وتخريب للمنازل، وقصف عشوائي استهدف المناطق السكنية مخلفاً عشرات الشهداء والجرحى، فضلاً عن تهديم عشرات المنازل وإجبار مئات المدنيين على النزوح عن ديارهم وعلى الصعيد الصحي، قال مدير صحة حمص حسن ألفين إن القيمة الأولية لأضرار القطاع الصحي في حمص، هي 1.152 مليار ليرة سوري أي ما يعادل 16.7 مليون دولار أمريكي، وأن 9 مشافي فقط تعمل من أصل 33 مشفى خاص، وأن 6 من المشـافي الحكوميـة و27 مركزاً صحياً خارج الخدمة Revolution Statistics Syrians killed: 40,274 Children killed: 3,092 Females killed: 3,285 Soldiers killed: 3,810 Protestors killed under torture: 1164 Missing: +76,000 Protestors currently incarcerated:+216,000 Syrian refugees since March: +354,239 Refugees in Turkey: +100,363 Refugees in Lebanon: +101,283 Refugees in Jordan: +105,166 Refugees in Iraq: +41,955 Refugees in North Africa: +5,562 Internationl Reactions Ashton embarks on new tour of the Middle East Vatican peace delegation poised to visit Syria Kofi Annan: Paul Ryan 'dead wrong' on Syria Selected Media Coverage Al-Hayat: The Region and the Bleak Days!
