Summary of Events The rebels continued to gain ground in Aleppo as they seized control of the entire western suburbs while continued to push into the infantry academy and took more than 70% of it so far after storming the department of military vehicles and detaining 40 army soldiers. They also took control of the military school of management in the Aleppo suburb of Khan Asal after a fierce battle that left at least ten rebel fighters dead. The rebels seized control of a military base and shot down a fighter jet near Damascus airport as they continued to attack the Deir Azzour airbase and destroyed another fighter jet. The Chief of Investigation Bureau Anwar Salman resigned his post as more than 100 soldiers defected to the rebels’ side from the “Defence Factories” in the suburbs of Aleppo. Regime forces shelled as many as 262 different areas, using all sort of heavy weaponry including cluster and phosphorous bombs as well as barrel bombs. Some 81 areas were shelled by mortar shells and 111 others were pounded by heavy artillery. More than 53 areas came under rocket shelling as fighter jets bombarded more than 14 others, mainly in the suburbs of Damascus. Regime forces killed at least 108 people, including ten women, eight children and 22 rebel fighters. They killed at least 49 people in Damascus and its suburbs, five of whom died in the neighbourhood of Hajar Aswad which came under heavy mortar and rocket shelling amid complete power, water and communications cut off. Regime forces and loyalist militiamen opened fire on protesters who joined the funeral procession of the 13 victims who died during yesterday’s mortar attack on the neighbourhood of Barzeh, thus leaving two more dead. Meanwhile, dozens more were killed and injured due to the indiscriminate shelling in the provincial towns of Daraya, Harasta and Zamalka. At least 19 people were killed in Idlib, 15 of whom died during clashes with regime forces while 15 others died in Aleppo, many of which died due to the indiscriminate shelling in the neighbourhoods of Ansari and Masaken Hananon and the provincial town of Safeira. Some seven people were killed in Daraa due to the indiscriminate shelling in the neighbourhoods of Tariq al-Sad and Tseil as well as in the provincial town of Taffas. شرسة راح ضحيتها عشرات الضحايا في صوفو الطرفين، وسيطروا أيضاً على الكتيبة العسكرية الثانية على طريق مطار دمشق الدولي وقاموا بإسقاط طائرة ميغ حربية بالقرب من مطار دمشق الدولي ودمروا طائرة ميغ حربية في مطار دير الزور العسكري أفاد ناشطون بانشقاق مدير التحقيق في المخابرات السورية أنور رسلان، كما تم انشقاق أكثر من 100 عسكري من معامل الدفاع بريف حلب بعد أن تعرضت لهجوم من قبل الثوار واصلت قوات النظام حملاتها العسكرية على المناطق الثائرة، حيث قصفت اليوم ما لا يقل عن 262 منطقة في مختلف أنحاء البلاد مستخدمةً القنابل العنقودية والفوسفورية والبراميل المتفجرة، فقد شهدت 81 منقطة قصفاً بمدافع الهاون و53 منطقة قصفت براجمات الصواريخ و111 منطقة بالمدفعية الثقيلة، كما شن الطيران الحربي غارات جوية على 14 منطقة كان أكثرها في ريف دمشق وصلت حصيلة شهداء اليوم إلى 108، بينهم عشر نساء وثمانية أطفال و22 مقاتلاً من كتائب الثوار فقد قتلت قوات النظام ما لا يقل عن 49 مواطناً في دمشق وريفها بينهم خمسة شهداء بالإضافة إلى 25 جريحاً سقطوا في حي الحجر الأسود جراء تجدد القصف بقذائف الهاون وراجمات الصواريخ على الحي في ظل انقطاع للكهرباء والماء والاتصالات بشكل تام، وبعد أن قامت قوات الأسد البارحة بمجزرة في حي برزة راح ضحيتها 13 من المدنيين خرج أهالي الحي اليوم بتشييع شهداء المجزرة فقامت قوات النظام وشبيحة عش الورور بإطلاق الرصاص على المشيعين وقتلت اثنين منهم، كما سقط عشرات الشهداء والجرحى نتيجة تجدد القصف على مدن وبلدات داريا وحرستا وزملكا وسقط 19 شهيداً في إدلب منهم 15 مقاتلاً من الثوار قضوا بالاشتباكات مع قوات النظام في ريفي إدلب وحلب، و15 شهيداً في حلب معظمهم سقطوا جراء القصف العشوائي على أحياء الأنصاري ومساكن هنانو وبلدة السفيرة، وسبعة شهداء في درعا جراء القصف العشوائي على حيي تسيل وطريق السد وبلدة طفس،
