Summary of Events The rebels seized control of the infantry academy in the north eastern suburb of Aleppo after a fierce battle that left dozens of regime and rebel forces dead. The rebels detained 50 army soldiers and set 25 detainees free after carrying out sweeps in the 1800m academy which was turned into a military base. They also captured scores of military vehicles and big quantities of weapons and ammunition besides storming the arms depots in the nearby suburb of Khan Toman. The rebels continued their attacks on the Menneg airbase in the suburb of Aleppo as well as on the Deir Azzour airbase in the east where they infiltrated its defence lines and secured the defection of 70 soldiers. Some 75 soldiers defected in the Idlib suburbs of Jesser Shughour and Jabal Zawiya as the rebels continued pushing into the west and the north of the province. In Damascus, a group of Syrian and Palestinian rebels clashed with the pro-regime Palestinian Popular Front militia in the Palestinian refugee camp of Yarmouk. Some 60 Palestinian militiamen defected to the rebels later as the head of the Palestinian front is said to have fled together with his son to the mainly Alawite province of Tartus in the west. The rebels continued to thwart the regime’s attempt to enter the neighbourhood of Tariq al-Sad in the city of Daraa and attacked the military security branch in the neighbourhood of al-Mattar as well as many military checkpoints using rocket-propelled grenades and mortar shells. A group of defected Syrian officials announced in Amman the establishment of the new Free National Gathering aimed at protecting state institutions should the regime of Bashar al-Assad fall. The new gathering will be headed by the ex-Syrian Prime Minister Riyad Hijab and will work within the framework of the Syrian National Coalition. Regime forces shelled as many as 256 different areas, using all sort of heavy weaponry including cluster and phosphorous bombs as well as barrel bombs. Some 94 areas were shelled by mortar shells and 94 others were pounded by heavy artillery. More than 60 areas came under rocket shelling as fighter jets bombarded more than 12 others, mainly in the suburbs of Damascus. Regime forces killed at least 128 people, including six women, five children and 47 rebel fighters. They killed at least 43 people in Damascus and its suburbs, most of which died due to the indiscriminate aerial, rocket and artillery shelling in the provincial towns of Moadamiyat al-Sham, Daraya, Bait Sahem, Erbin, Bibila, Bahariya and Deir Suleiman while four others were executed in the town of Qatana. Some 21 people were killed in Aleppo, ten of whom were shot dead by regime snipers deployed throughout the city while nine rebel fighters, including defected Colonel Yusuf Jadar, died as they carried out sweeps in the military academy in the Aleppo suburb of Musalamiya. Regime forces killed 20 people in Idlib, half of whom died during clashes that broke out in the suburbs of Idlib and Aleppo while 16 more died in Homs, nine of whom died in an airstrike launched by a fighter jet on the rebel-held town of Rastan. At least 12 people died in Daraa including seven rebel fighters while seven died in Deir Azzour and three more in Raqa. الثوار يسيطرون على كلية المشاة في ريف حلب  أبرز أخبار اليوم الثوار يكملون سيطرتهم على كلية المشاة في ريف حلب ويحاصرون مطاري منغ ودير الزور العسكريين اشتباكات عنيفة بين الثوار ومليشيا أحمد جبريل الفلسطينية، وأنباء عن هروبه من دمشق تأسيس تجمع للمنشقين عن النظام السوري برئاسة رياض حجاب أبرز المقاطع المصورة ريف حلب: الجيش الحر يسيطر على كلية المشاة ويحرر المعتقلين فيها ويردي بض عناصر الجيش قتلى، ج2، ج3،ج4 الرستن، حمص: سقوط عشرات الشهداء والجرحى في غارة جوية شنتها طائرة حربية، ج2 كفربطيخ، إدلب: أطفال يودعون والدهم الشهيد وتشييع جماعي لشهداء القصف على المدينة، ج2 إحصائيات اليوم عدد الشهداء: 128 بينهم 6 نساء و5 أطفال و47 مقاتلاً (دمشق وريفها: 43، حلب: 21، إدلب: 20، حمص: 16، درعا: 12، دير الزور: 7، حماة: 6، الرقة: 3) عدد المناطق التي تم قصفها: 256+ قتلى الجيش النظامي: 60 + عدد الجرحى: 70+ عدد المعتقلين: 15+ العمليات النوعية للجيش السوري الحر: السيطرة على كلية المشاة ومستودعات خان طومان في ريف إدلب قصف مطاري منغ ودير الزور العسكريين السيطرة على حي الحجر الأسود في دمشق ملخص الأحداث أعلن الثوار سيطرتهم على كلية المشاة العسكرية في بلدة المسلمية في الجهة الشمالية الشرقية من ريف حلب بعد معركة قتل فيها أكثر من 70 عنصراً من جنود النظام ممن رفضوا الاستسلام في حين تم أسر أكثر من 50 آخرين وتحرير 25 معتقل عسكري ومدني داخل الكلية واغتنام العشرات من الآليات العسكرية وكميات كبيرة من الذخيرة والأسلحة، كما تمت السيطرة على مستودعات الذخيرة في بلدة خان طومان بريف حلب                                                                           ولاتزال المعارك دائرة حول مطار منغ العسكري في ريف حلب ومطار دير الزور العسكري في محافظة دير الزور حيث قام الثوار باقتحام الخطوط الأمامية للمطار تزامناً مع تأمين انشقاق 70عسكري منه، وكما تم انشقاق قرابة 75 عنصراً عسكرياً من حواجز عدة في مناطق جسر الشغور وجبل الزاوية في ريف إدلب مع مواصلة الثوار زحفهم من أجل السيطرة على باقي مناطق الريف الشمالية والغربية وفي دمشق، دارت اشتباكات عنيفة في مناطق عدة من مخيم اليرموك الفلسطيني بين الثوار وكتائب الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين بقيادة أحمد جبريل الذي تواردت أنباء أنه غادر العاصمة دمشق مع نجله باتجاه مدينة طرطوس، وقد تم انشقاق قرابة 60عنصراً من كتائب الجبهة الشعبية في الوقت الذي أعلن فيه الثوار سيطرتهم على منطقة الحجر الأسود بالكامل بعد معركة تم خلالها تدمير عربيتين مدرعتين كما دارت اشتباكات عنيفة في مدينة درعا مع مواصلة الثوار صد هجوم قوات النظام على حي طريق السد، كما استهدف الجيش الحر فرع الأمن العسكري في حي المطار بقذائف آر بي جي وتم قصف عدد من الحواجز العسكرية المتواجدة في المدينة بقذائف الهاون أُعلن في عمّان اليوم عن تأسيس التجمع الوطني الحر الذي يضم المنشقين عن مؤسسات الدولة في سورية برئاسة رئيس الوزراء السوري المنشق رياض حجاب، وجاء في الإعلان أن التجمع الجديد سيعمل ضمن الائتلاف الوطني لقوى الثورة والمعارضة السورية الذي يهدف لإسقاط النظام السوري بكل رموزه واصلت قوات النظام حملاتها العسكرية على المناطق الثائرة، حيث قصفت اليوم ما لا يقل عن 256 منطقة في مختلف أنحاء البلاد مستخدمةً القنابل العنقودية والفوسفورية والبراميل المتفجرة، فقد شهدت 94 منقطة قصفاً بمدافع الهاون و60 منطقة قصفت براجمات الصواريخ و94 منطقة بالمدفعية الثقيلة، كما شن الطيران الحربي غارات جوية على 12 منطقة كان أكثرها في ريف دمشق وصلت حصيلة شهداء اليوم إلى 128، بينهم ست نساء وخمسة أطفال و47 مقاتلاً من كتائب الثوار فقد قتلت قوات النظام ما لا يقل عن 43 مواطناً في دمشق وريفها معظمهم قضوا نتيجة القصف العشوائي على مدن وبلدات معضمية الشام وداريا وبيت سحم وعربين وببيلا والبحارية ودير سليمان وأربعة تم إعدامهم ميدانياً في مدينة قطنا، و21 مواطناً في حلب بينهم عشرة على الأقل قضوا برصاص القناصة المنتشرة في معظم أنحاء المدينة في حين سقط تسعة مقاتلين من كتائب الثوار بينهم قائد عملية اقتحام مدرسة المشاة العقيد المنشق يوسف الجادر، و20 آخرين في إدلب بينهم عشرة على الأقل قضوا نتيجة الاشتباكات التي دارت في ريفي حلب وإدلب، و16 مواطناً في حمص بينهم تسعة على الأقل قضوا في غارة جوية شنتها طائرة مقاتلة على مدينة الرستن، و12 مواطناً في درعا بينهم سبعة مقاتلين من الثوار قضوا خلال الاشتباكات التي دارت في المدينة، وسبعة شهداء في دير الزور وثلاثة في الرقة Revolution Statistics Syrians killed: 49,437 Children killed: 3,699 Females killed: 3,704 Soldiers killed: 5,569 Protesters killed under torture: 1315 Missing: +76,000 Protesters currently incarcerated:+216,000 Syrians injured: +137,000 Syrian refugees since March: +513,885 Refugees in Turkey: +137,756 Refugees in Lebanon: +157,845 Refugees in Jordan: +145,942 Refugees in Iraq: +65,527 Refugees in North Africa: +6,815 Internationl Reactions UN, EU urge more Syria aid as conflict enters 'new phase' NATO says Syrian Scuds hit "near" Turkey Selected Media Coverage Asharq Alawsat: Syrian chess: The latest move!
