Summary of Events The Doha-based Aljazeera TV channel said that the Islamist rebel group of Jabhat al-Nusra announced a “no-fly zone” over Aleppo and issued a warning to civil aircrafts to stay out of the province’s airspace. The rebels accuse the regime of using civil aircraft in transporting arms domestically as it continues to receive arms shipments from Russia and Iran using the same method. A group of Islamist rebel battalions and brigades announced the formation of a new umbrella organization they called “The Syrian Islamic Front” which includes, Ahrar al-Sham battalions which operate nationwide, the al-Haq Brigade in Homs, the Islamist al-Fajr Movement in Aleppo and its suburbs, the Islamist al-Tali’aa Group in the suburbs of Idlib, Ansar al-Sham Brigades in Latakia, Mosab Bin Omayr battalion in the suburb of Aleppo, al-Tawheed Army in Deir Azour, Soqour al-Islam, al-Ayman Brigades, the Special Tasks Squads and the Hamza bin Abdul-Mottalib battalion in Damascus and its suburbs. The new group is the biggest one so far and consists of more than 30,000 fighters. It also carries out other activities besides the military ones such as humanitarian aid relief, Da’wah and media. The rebels made new gains on several fronts across the country. In Damascus, they took over the town of Rayhan near the notorious prison of Adra and stormed a number of military posts that belong to the Republican Guard corps and the third division. They also stormed the base of the military’s 81st regiment near Damascus international airport as they secured the defection of more than 200 soldiers. Fighting renewed in the Palestinian Yarmouk camp in Damascus following the death of five civilians who were shot dead by regime snipers. Sporadic clashes were also reported near the Abasyeen bus station as well as near the Abasyeen square in central Damascus. The Syrian Red Crescent has mediated the exchange of two slain military officers with a number of anti-government detainees in the suburbs of Damascus. In Hama, the rebels took over the provincial town of Morek as well as the village of Hajama after successfully running over all regime military checkpoints. They also attacked the state security compound in Hama city and clashed with regime forces in the neighbourhoods of Tariq Halab and Janoub Malaab as well as in the district of Sahl al-Ghab. Mass anti-regime protests broke out across the country. Protesters hailed the victories gained by the rebels in Aleppo recently and reiterated their calls for the downfall of the four-decade rule of the Assad family. Regime forces intensified their attacks on rebels-held towns and villages, shelling as many as 291 different areas across the country and using all sort of heavy weaponry including cluster and phosphorous bombs as well as barrel bombs. Some 124 areas were shelled by mortar shells and 125 others were pounded by heavy artillery. More than 36 areas came under rocket shelling as fighter jets and helicopter gunship bombarded several others, causing extensive damage and leaving dozens of people dead and wounded. Regime forces killed more than 157 people, including 12 children, seven women and 63 rebel fighters, marking the highest death toll among rebel fighters in the 21-month conflict. In Damascus and its suburbs, at least 58 people died, 11 of whom died due to the intense rocket shelling that targeted a refugee shelter in the provincial town of Moadamiyat al-Sham. Dozens more were also critically injured during this attack. Meanwhile, dozens more civilians died due to similar attacks on the provincial towns of Douma and Daraya. One of the highest death toll of 33 was reported in Hama today, the majority died during fighting that broke out throughout the province. Some 23 people died in Aleppo, half of whom died due to the indiscriminate shelling in the neighbourhoods of Marja, Salaheddin and Karm Homed, while the rest died during clashes with regime forces. Regime forces also killed 11 rebel fighters from Idlib, ten in Daraa and seven more in Deir Azzour. They also killed ten civilians in Homs as they bombarded the neighborhoods of Jobar and Rabee Arabi as well as the village of Sqarjeh and the provincial town of Houla. الثوار يشكلون الجبهة الإسلامية الإشارة في ريف دمشق ملخص الأحداث صرحت قناة الجزيرة الإخبارية أن جبهة النصرة أعلنت عن فرضها لحظر جوي فوق محافظة حلب وحذرت الطائرات المدنية من التحليق في سمائها مؤكدةً حصولها على أسلحة نوعية تمكنها من القيام بذلك، ويتهم الثوار النظام السوري باستخدام الطائرات المدنية في نقل الإمدادات العسكرية داخل البلاد في الوقت الذي تستمر به روسيا وإيران في شحن الأسلحة إلى سورية مستخدمةً الطريقة نفسها أعلنت مجموعة من الألوية والكتائب الثائرة عن تشكيل أكبر تجمع لها تحت مسمى "الجبهة الإسلامية السورية" والتي تشمل كل من كتائب أحرار الشام العاملة في كافة المحافظات، ولواء الحق العامل في حمص، وحركة الفجر الإسلامية في حلب وريفها، وجماعة الطليعة الإسلامية في ريف إدلب، وكتائب أنصار الشام في اللاذقية وريفها، وكتيبة مصعب بن عمير في ريف حلب، وجيش التوحيد في دير الزور، وصقور الإسلام وكتائب الإيمان المقاتلة وسرايا المهام الخاصة وكتيبة حمزة بن عبدالمطلب في دمشق وريفها، وتتألف الجبهة من ما يقارب 30 ألف مقاتلاً، وتأخذ على عاتقها أمور دعوية وإغاثية وإعلامية إلى جانب العسكرية منها حقق الثوار تقدماً كبيراً على جبهات عدة من البلاد، ففي ريف دمشق، أعلنوا سيطرتهم على مدينة الريحان جانب سجن عدرا في ريف دمشق بالكامل وتمت السيطرة أيضاً على مواقع تابعة للحرس الجمهوري والفرقة الثالثة بالإضافة إلى كتيبة إشارة في ريف دمشق، كما سيطر الثوار على الفوج 81 استطلاع الواقع على طريق مطار دمشق الدولي، وتم تأمين انشقاق ما يقارب 200 عسكري من صف ضباط وعناصر بالإضافة إلى قتل عدد كبير من عناصر النظام و أسر العديد منهم تجددت الاشتباكات في مخيم اليرموك الفلسطيني في العاصمة دمشق بين الجيش الحر وقوات الأسد وذلك بعد مقتل خمسة مدنيين برصاص قناصة النظام، كما دارت اشتباكات بالقرب من كراجات العباسيين وحاجز ميسلون القريب من ساحة العباسيين وسط المدينة تم اليوم الإفراج عن عدد من الأسرى المعتقلين لدى النظام في ريف دمشق من خلال عملية تبادل جرت بوساطة الهلال الأحمر السوري حيث تم الإفراج عن الأسرى مقابل جثتين من جنود الأسد حقق الثوار تقدماً هاماً في جبهة حماة حيث سيطروا على مدينة مورك وعلى قرية الحجامة، كما استهدفوا مبنى أمن الدولي واشتبكوا مع قوات النظام في أحياء طريق حلب وجنوب الملعب وفي منطقة سهل الغاب في الريف وشهدت البلاد مظاهرات سلمية مناوئة للنظام السوري، هتفت لثوار مدينة حلب وأكدت على مطالبها بالحرية وإسقاط النظام واصلت قوات النظام حملاتها العسكرية على المناطق الثائرة، حيث قصفت اليوم ما لا يقل عن 291 منطقة في مختلف أنحاء البلاد مستخدمةً القنابل العنقودية والفوسفورية بالإضافة إلى البراميل المتفجرة، فقد شهدت حوالي 124 مناطق قصفاً بمدافع الهاون و36 منطقة قصفت براجمات الصواريخ و125 منطقة بالمدفعية الثقيلة، كما شن الطيران الحربي والمروحي غارات جوية على مناطق عدة في مختلف البلاد أسفرت عن وقوع عشرات الشهداء والجرحى وإحداث دمار كبير في المنازل وصلت حصيلة شهداء اليوم إلى 157، بينهم 12 طفلاً وسبع سيدات وما لا يقل عن 63 مقاتلاً من كتائب الثوار في حصيلة هي الأكبر على الإطلاق ففي دمشق وريفها، سقط مالا يقل عن 58 شهيداً، بينهم 11 سقطوا في بلدة معضمية الشام نتيجة القصف الصاروخي العشوائي والذي استهدفت أحد الملاجئ السكنية بينما سقط عشرات آخرون في قصف مماثل استهدف مدن دوما وداريا وشهدت حماة واحداً من أكثر أيامها دموية حيث سقط أكثر من 33 شهيداً معظمهم قضوا خلال الاشتباكات التي دارت في مناطق مختلفة من المدينة وريفها، وفي حلب سقط أكثر من 23 شهيداً نصفهم على الأقل قضوا نتيجة القصف العشوائي الذي استهدف أحياء المرجة وصلاح الدين وكرم حومد ونصفهم الآخر قضوا خلال الاشتباك مع قوات النظام وقتلت قوات النظام 11 مقاتلاً من إدلب خلال الاشتباكات التي جرت في ريفي حماة وحلب، وعشرة مقاتلين آخرين خلال هجومهم على مقر اللواء 34 في محافظة درعا، وعشرة مواطنين في حمص جراء القصف العشوائي الذي طال حي جوبر والربيع العربي وبلدات سقرجة
